White rocks sit vertically along most of the western coast of the island giving it the name Lefkada(The White One).
By contrast the eastern coast has many picturesque little bays.

Having spent time during 2002
visiting Agios Nikitas I decided to return during 2003 to see more of the island.
I wanted to see the south coast and the famous resort of Vassiliki.
